This document describes the privacy practices of Gilded Scale, a weight-deduction puzzle presented as a static page.
The identity of the counterfeit coin, every weighing you perform, and the countdown timer all exist solely within your browser's memory for the duration of play. No coin, guess, or outcome is ever sent to a server.
Gilded Scale does not request names, contact information, or account credentials of any kind. There is no registration step anywhere in the experience.
The game does not use cookies, localStorage, or any other persistence mechanism. Refreshing the page discards the current set of coins and begins a new level at level one.
The Cinzel and Josefin Sans fonts are retrieved from Google Fonts, a request governed by Google's own privacy practices rather than this policy.
The puzzle is suitable for a general audience and, having no data collection features, raises no particular concerns for visitors of any age.
Future revisions to this policy will simply replace the content of this file.
